What is the ASRS IP Snapshot Infrastructure Portal?

An online portal that shows Infrastructure Sustainability Council members how their AASB S2 climate disclosure compares to their peers and helps future reporters prepare. It draws on Purpose Bureau’s ASRS Intelligence Platform and is organised around the five ISC member classes.

The ASRS IP is the first comprehensive analysis of Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards reports in Australia. Purpose Bureau, with Monash Business School and several other research partners, ingests every ASRS report lodged and codes it against a 400-field data taxonomy, so that disclosures can be compared consistently across companies and sectors.

The ASRS IP covers the full Australian reporting population and is only available to research partners. The Portal is an infrastructure specific view of it – the same underlying data, cut to the infrastructure value chain and grouped by ISC member class rather than by generic industry code.

Sustainability and ESG reporting teams preparing or reviewing an AASB S2 statement, finance and company secretarial teams managing assurance and board reporting, and procurement teams assessing suppliers’ climate disclosure maturity.

$3,500 + GST for Infrastructure Sustainability Council members, against a standard price of $15,000 + GST. That covers 12 months access.

Inclusions:

  • 12 months access to all nine Portal modules
  • 5 report credits for companies outside the infrastructure cohort, with additional reports at $10 + GST each
  • Data updates every time a new reporting group’s reports become available, including the June 30 reporters when released
  • Direct and first access to subsequent ASRS IP research reports
  • 20% discount on the first year of any other Purpose Bureau products, including Climate and Labour & Human Rights

We highly recommend you watch the above recorded demo and read through these FAQs.

284 ASRS Group 1 reports as at August 2026 (Dec 31 and Apr 30 FY end companies), each coded against the 400-field taxonomy. Coverage grows every month, with the whole Group 1 cohort expected in November 2026 after all reports are released. As Group 2 and second year Group 1 reports are released, the insights go deeper.

Your disclosure is scored against the same 400 fields as everyone else’s, then positioned within your ISC member class and against the whole infrastructure cohort. You can see where you sit, on what, and by how far.

Two views come as standard: your position within your ISC member class and a class or custom cohort comparison against the whole infrastructure cohort.

Yes. The Cohort Manager lets you build and save custom cohorts and compare against them, rather than being limited to your member class.

Yes. Because the data updates as each new reporting group lodges, your position can be tracked across reporting periods rather than assessed once.

The Portal contains what your company has already disclosed publicly or lodged with ASIC. It holds nothing you have not already reported and subscribers see the same coded view of every company in the cohort.

Governance, strategy, risk management, and metrics and targets – the structure AASB S2 inherits from the TCFD framework and IFRS S2.

Yes. The Reports module produces exportable outputs, matching the numbers you see on the screen.

Yes, and arguably more so. Future reporters can see exactly what their sector disclosed before you start writing, rather than starting from the standard and guessing at market practice.

Credits give access to companies outside the infrastructure cohort. The subscription includes 5 credits, with additional reports are $10 + GST each. Every company in the infrastructure value chain cohort is included in your subscription. Credits are provided with the 12 month subscription.

Directly from companies’ own published AASB S2 statements, both public and private. Every data point traces back to something the company itself disclosed.

Our Mission

To equip responsible organisations with independent, high integrity ESG intelligence

We started Purpose Bureau because ESG, Finance, and Procurement teams were being asked to make complex claims without reliable data. Too much work relied on manual spreadsheets and self reporting. We knew there was a better way.
